The McHenryRiverwalk Foundation, in collaboration with the City of McHenry, is proud to announce Light the Night 2024 on Saturday, September 28th, from 12-9pm. This highly anticipated event promises to transform Miller Point on McHenry Riverwalk into a magical wonderland of light, music, and entertainment.
Attendees can look forward to a full day of activities, starting with craft vendors showcasing their wares from noon until 9pm. As the afternoon progresses, the talented Lara Bell will take the stage from 4-6pm, setting the perfect ambiance for the evening ahead.
As dusk settles, the event will truly come alive with the lighting of the Fire Globes, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for the night’s festivities. At 8pm, prepare to be amazed by the skillful Fire Dancers, who will dazzle the crowd with their intricate flame performances.
The musical entertainment continues with the Semple Band, who will keep the energy high from 7-9pm with their electrifying tunes. Throughout the event, a variety of food trucks will be on hand to satisfy all culinary cravings.
The grand finale of Light the Night 2024 will be a spectacular fireworks display at 9pm, illuminating the sky and providing a fitting end to this magical evening.
Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, friends, and family to fully enjoy this free community event.
