December 1, 2022, Keith Johnson of McHenry, representing the A.D. Johnson Foundation, presented the McHenry Riverwalk Foundation with a donation check for $10,000. The donation is earmarked to build a seat wall on the large bluestone circle at Miller Point on McHenry Riverwalk. John J. Smith, President of the McHenry Riverwalk Foundation, commended the Johnson’s and the A.D. Johnson Foundation and their generous gift of $13,000 last year and another $10,000 this year, commenting that donations such as these are the backbone of what makes McHenry special and the Riverwalk feasible.
